Cardboard works nicely with Google pixel 4a. Just magnetic button does not work, as expected. But it can be solved by using a short strip of aluminum foil that touches a display and reaches the top of the cardboard. To trigger the action, you just touch the foil. When placed properly, foil will work without the issues.
